This is the Rodney King trial all over again! I guess if 12 cops on tape swinging nite sticks repeatedly at man's head can get off, then R.Kelly can too. If the average man gets caught ON TAPE having sex with a minor, they would put us in jail with the biggest, gayest, serial murderers on the planet so they can have their way with us.

a little down

There r times when one feels down & out. When nuttn seems 2 b goin ur way. There are times when u can feel so upset, when ur mad enuff 2 scream nd ur sad enuff 2 cry. There are times when u need sum1 2 vent. When u need a wise word or just a shoulder 2 cry on or an ear 2 listen. And sometimes, u can reach no1. Ppl r at work, watchin tha kids, or jus don't have time 2 listen 2 ur b.s cuz they have their own problems. At these times, u drop down on ur knees nd pray! U git down nd thank God 4 life, health, nd family. Pray that God 2 4give ur sins, 2 4give ur enemies. And pray 4 tha ppl that have 4saken u in ur moment of need, nd try 2 move on wit ur life. However, thas easier sed than dun.

Black Fathers

1 out of 4 black homes are fatherless. There either in jail, on drugs, selling drugs, dead, or just plain not around. And the ones with fathers in the house. He's either works to much, never pays attention to his childrens lives, just plain doesn't care because he feels like he has done his job by jus "being there". our children are suffering because of this sick mentality. Let me tell yawl sumthing: I have not yet had the pleasure of fatherhood, but I have been a son. And I wish my father was there for me. He was there physically, but that's where it ended. The ONLY THING that I can say that I learned from this man is what I DON'T want to be as a father. I've made my mistakes and I stand up like a man and accept them. They were my decisions. But what I didn't have, was a father to guide those mistakes, to hold me when I slipped up, to tell me where the pot holes were in his life so I can try my best to dodge them. Assuming that if he jus put a video game and/or t.v in my face, that would good enuff. No, I needed a doggone father! Fathers, ESPECIALLY black fathers, take the time to get to KNOW ur children. Understand their feelings, what their fears are, what their talent are, study their strengths and weaknesses. Try to mold their weaknesses into strengths, and if not, then help them to understand their own weaknesses so they wont give in to those weaknesses. Talk to them, ask them what's on their mind. Ask them what are their plans in life, or just plain "do you need to talk to me?" would do nicely. Let your kids know that ur there for them.The reason I can say all of this is because these are things I never received growing up. And I'm sure there's many others that are in the same position I am. So if you are, then please take head to what I'm saying and make a change. Sometimes

Sometimes I feel like there's just no point in tryna save ppl. There are so many fallacies & traditions that corrupt the Church that Christians don't know what is real and what isn't. Or better yet...what to follow or what not 2 follow. Example, the other day a co-worker asked me what is the "right" religion? I replied "well, which ever one follows Bible principle most accurately WITHOUT any outlandish interpretations that fit their specific theology of one a specific Church." She was raised in a culture that believes heavily in ghost & supersticians & things of that sort. So she asks me if I beleive in the "afterlife" & I reply "no". I then proceeded 2 share with her the reason I didn't believe in those things...I take her to ecclesiactes 9:5, which explains that there is NO afterlife directly after one dies. Now, instead of questioning the institution that has been telling her these lies...she tells me "well, I still believe in ghosts". My mouth dropped, I was like "wow!" so the Word of God means nothing when it is put up against culture, traditions, & most of all lies. Remember Christians, Eve's 1st sin was not eating the fruit, it was not standing on what God had told her regardless of what ANYONE tried 2 tell her. Think about it. Goodnite
